Recipe Breakfast in Bed for Dad

Celebrate your dad this June 21st by preparing him this delicious and easy to make breakfast!

 Recipe (Duck)

IngredientsBacon3-5 strips of baconHashbrowns2-3 Yukon gold potatoes½ white onion1 tbs butterSalt and pepper to tasteNutella Stuffed French Toast2 slices of bread2 eggs200 ml of milk½ tbs of cinnamon3-4 tbs of Nutella1 tbs of butterMaple syrupFruit to garnishFruit Smoothie200 ml of orange juice100 ml of apple juice8 strawberries24 blueberries6 blackberriesDirectionsBacon

  1. Fry bacon on a medium heat pan until fat is rendered and bacon is crispy on both sides

Hashbrowns

  1. Peel potatoes and grate them into a bowl.
  2. Fill the bowl with cold water and let the grated potatoes soak for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and rinse them in cold water.
  4. Pat dry grated potatoes until most moisture is removed.
  5. Cut an onion into quarters and thinly slice two of those quarters.
  6. In a bowl incorporate the onions with the potatoes.
  7. Coat a frying pan with butter on a medium heat.
  8. Form the potato-onion mixture into small patties and fry them until they are golden brown on both sides.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Nutella Stuffed French Toast

  1. Whisk eggs, milk and cinnamon into a bowl.
  2. Spread Nutella onto a slice of bread and place the other slice on top.
  3. Coat the frying pan with butter on a medium heat.
  4. Take your now made sandwich, dip it in your egg mixture and coat both sides.
  5. Place the sandwich onto the frying pan and achieve a golden brown on both sides.
  6. Cut in half, garnish with fruit and add maple syrup.

Fruit Smoothie

  1. Add your juices and berries into a blender and blend until all of the fruits are broken down and the beverage is smooth.
  2. Garnish with fruit.
