Yorkgate Mall Hosts Fun Free March Break Activities!
Yorkgate Mall will host its annual March Break activities that will provide exciting fun for kids, teens, and adults alike! And the best part? All events are FREE! Activities will take place near Tim Hortons.
Special appearance from former NHLer and hockey legend, Rick Vaive
Monday, March 10 • 1 PM - 4 PM
We’re thrilled to announce a special appearance with former NHLer and hockey legend, Rick Vaive. Customers have a chance to get up close and personal with Rick Vaive, including FREE photo and autograph opportunities. Afterwards, customers can take their best shot at our interactive Hockey Game.
Discover The World of Dinosaurs & Exotic Animals!
Tuesday, March 11 • 1 PM & 3 PM (Hands-on Petting Station: 2 PM - 2:45 PM)
Get up close and learn about dinosaurs, and exotic animals during this exciting interactive show! Plus, take pictures with our Jurassic Park themed Jeep.
Meet with the popular kid’s characters JJ and Cody from CoComelon!
Wednesday March 12 • 1 PM - 4 PM
Experience an interactive Meet and Greet with the official kid’s characters JJ & Cody from CoComelon. Kids can also visit our Fun Station to colour and play games with interactive educational elements for the entire family to enjoy.
3rd Annual Yorkgate Mall March Break Comic Con
Tuesday, March 11 – Friday, March 14 from 10 AM – 5 PM
Over 10 vendors sharing their passion for comics, collectibles, toys and special superhero character appearances. Plus, enjoy live wrestling on Thursday, March 13, and Friday, March 14 from 1 – 4 PM! This is the largest Comic Con in North York, don’t miss out!
“These events are a great opportunity for families to come out and get involved in some fun FREE activities” says Chris Couch, Marketing Associate at Yorkgate Mall. “We hope to help provide an exciting educational and entertaining experience for our customers.”
As well as this full slate of activities, Yorkgate Mall will kick off a March Break Book Drive on Monday, March 10 - 14. Customers are encouraged to donate a new or slightly used youth or children’s book and help support literacy programs in the community.
Yorkgate Mall, located at Jane and Finch in Toronto, Ontario, offers over 60 stores and services under one roof including No Frills, LCBO, IDA Drug Mart, Dollarama and BMO.
