You are invited to participate in Consultations on the Toronto District School Board

UntitledTDSB consultationsOntario’s renewed vision for education focuses on improving student achievement, ensuring equity, promoting well-being and enhancing public confidence in publicly funded education. These four goals are critical to the success of our students, our education system and our province as a whole. As part of this focus, the government has appointed a panel to conduct a review of the structure of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), as recommended by Margaret Wilson, to ensure the board remains focused on improving student achievement and promoting well-being. As part of this review, consultations will begin in early April with the community on ways to improve the board’s structure. Toronto community members are invited to provide their input in two ways: 1) Online – If you would like to submit your ideas through the online consultation, visit http://consultationsontdsb.ca. The deadline to provide your comments is 5 p.m. on May 30, 2015. 2) In-person - Starting in April, the Toronto community is invited to attend sessions that will be taking place throughout Toronto.
